Dr. Kan Kouakou

I've been teaching English as Second Language(ESL) for years at all levels, from Primary school to University. My specialties include international Tests  preparation such IELTS, TOEIC; EAP( English for Academic Purpose), Business and General English. I have a good command of different teaching approaches such as the communicative approach, and European Common Framework for Language Reference.

I have been teaching as a Second Language for many years with passion. In my career, I faced different challenges was able to cope with them thanks to my knowledge of various teaching approaches such as the Communicative approach,  and the European Common Framework for Language reference (ESL). Sometimes, I developed some tailored made approaches to help my students who are in need. I have a good command of the Microsystem in Grammar, perfect diction and insist on pronunciation in my lectures.

I received my BA in English in 1997. Then, I started teaching for  some years before  engaging in further studies in London to prepare my TESOL Certification which I got in 2008. Some years later, based on my huge experience in ESL teaching, I received my PhD degree in TESOL from  École Supérieure  Robert de Sorbon. Beides, I  am holder of a diploma in Journalism with a major in Newswriting from London School of Journalism and member of NUJ( National Union of Journalists) in England.
